It was great to pop along to Ilkeston’s Breathe Easy support group’s AGM and chat with members about living with Lung Conditions.
Breathe Easy groups are a network of support groups specifically aimed at people with lung conditions, including asthma. These groups provide a platform for individuals living with lung conditions and their families to come together, share experiences, and offer support to one another.
Breathe Easy groups typically offer a range of services and activities, including peer support; education; exercise and breathlessness classes; social activities; advocacy and awareness.
On a personal note, I know first hand just how helpful such groups are as my Mother had Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a life-limiting lung condition.
Ilkeston’s breathe easy support group is supported by Asthma + Lung UK and meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 2pm at Littlewick Medical Centre.
If you want to make new friends, share, and receive advice about living with a lung condition then please consider joining Ilkeston’s breathe easy group. More information can be found online here.
