This week is Carers Week, and I am pleased to support Carers UK’s call for government action to identify and support unpaid carers. Too often carers aren’t supported to recognise their caring role quickly, so they miss out on vital support. This must change.
That’s why this #CarersWeek I’m supporting unpaid carers in Erewash and across the UK by saying I CARE.
