I was delighted to join the Scouts for the launch of their new Employability Badge report in Parliament. I had the opportunity to talk to some Scouts and learn some new skills along the way.
The report highlighted how extracurricular activities can give young people the skills and experiences they need to enter the world of work and progress in their careers.
I have many Scouts groups across Erewash, and I know what an important role that they play in helping young people gain skills for life.
