I am urging Erewash residents who receive the State Pension to apply for Pension Credit by 10 December. If you are eligible for Pension Credit, you could claim a £300.00 Cost-of-Living Payment.
This announcement is part of a campaign run by ex-football manager, Harry Redknapp and the Department for Work and Pensions. They have joined forced to urge those who receive the State Pension and are on low incomes to apply for Pension Credit, which could result in an extra £300.00 cost of living boost, on top of support worth on average of £3,900.00 per year.
